Progressing Ballet Technique
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a unique and innovative program designed to help students understand the depth of training muscle memory with the use of fit balls, thera bands and other props. It can be difficult for students to feel what muscles initiate the correct alignment in their training, as the fit ball is continually mobile under the students’ body it informs the dancers of their posture and weight placement while allowing them to use and strengthen the correct muscle groups.
Developed by Marie Walton-Mahon in Sydney, Australia, PBT has amazing success in guiding dancers in their understanding of core strength, stability, flexibility and alignment, aiding dancers to achieve their personal best.
